Garena's Delta Force: A Tactical FPS Experience Launching Globally
Get ready for the global launch of Delta Force, courtesy of Garena! Previously known as Delta Force: Hawk Ops, this tactical first-person shooter (FPS) is launching a PC Open Beta on December 5th, 2024, with mobile open beta following in 2025.
Developed initially by NovaLogic and later taken over by Tencent's TiMi Studios (creators of COD Mobile), Delta Force is now being brought to global audiences through a partnership with Garena. The game will feature cross-progression between PC and mobile platforms. Garena and TiMi plan a 2025 launch across Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Brazil, Central and South America, the Middle East, and North Africa.
What Awaits in Delta Force?
Delta Force offers two exciting game modes:
- Warfare: Engage in large-scale 32v32 battles across land, sea, and air, utilizing squad-based gameplay with four-operator teams.
- Operations: Experience a high-stakes extraction shooter mode. Teams of three must scavenge for loot, evade enemies, and reach extraction points before time runs out. Loot can be used in future matches or exchanged for in-game currency. Players can also acquire enemy gear and supplies. The map includes challenging bosses, restricted zones, and special missions. Discover the rare MandelBrick for exclusive skins, but beware – its acquisition broadcasts your location to other players.

A Nod to the Original
This new Delta Force iteration boasts enhanced, realistic graphics while retaining the series' tactical depth. Fans of the original 1998 release are sure to find a sense of nostalgia.
