In Metaphor: ReFantazio, each dungeon presents a formidable challenge in the form of mini-bosses that you encounter before reaching the final boss. These enemies are typically marked in red on the overworld Fairy Sight, indicating the need for Squad combat. One such daunting adversary is the Faithwight Magileto, found in the Spire Of Blind Faith. At this stage of the game, these enemies are particularly tough, demanding a well-thought-out strategy and a dash of luck to defeat.
Faithwight Magileto Weakness & Skills In Metaphor: ReFantazio
Weakness | Repel | Resists | Blocks |
---|---|---|---|
Strike | Light | Pierce | Electric |
The Faithwight Magileto is a level 50 enemy capable of summoning additional level 50 foes, making it advisable to engage them only when your party is at least level 45.
Faithwight Magiletos wield potent dark and light magic spells that can target either a single character or the entire party. They also have access to Megidolaon, a devastating spell that inflicts severe damage across the board. These enemies are further empowered by passive buffs that amplify the damage of dark, light, and electric elements. Additionally, they can use Soul Scream to gain four Press Turn icons in a single turn and summon more level 50 skeletons to bolster their ranks.
The summoned skeletons possess strong slashing attacks and dark magic, along with a robust buff and one of the game's most effective healing spells, which they can cast on the Faithwight Magileto to restore it to full health. These minions share the same weakness to Strike, making it crucial to focus your attacks on this vulnerability.
How To Beat Faithwight Magileto In Metaphor: ReFantazio
Even with an impeccable strategy, defeating the Faithwight Magileto remains a formidable challenge, especially if your party is below level 50. To prepare for this battle, consider the following steps:
- Acquire Dark Dodge from the Magic Knight.
- Obtain Light Dodge from the Healer Archetype.
- Inherit Strike skills from the Brawler Archetype.
- Utilize the Warlock Archetype, which resists both Dark and Light damage.
- Employ the Thief Archetype, which resists Dark damage.
- Bring Tetrabreak to counter any summoned enemies using Tetrakarn.
The specific Archetypes you select are less critical as long as they cover the aforementioned points and are not vulnerable to Dark, Light, or Slash damage. If you have access to multiple Archetypes and can leverage Skill Inheritance, prioritize those with high Strength. Ensure at least two party members have access to party-wide healing spells, and equip all members with Strike attacks to maximize Press Turn Icons and manage the health loss from these skills.
Success in this battle involves a degree of luck, especially in avoiding consecutive Megidolaons, which can be nearly impossible to survive. Equipping most party members with Dark and Light dodge can help end the enemy's turn more quickly. If the Faithwight Magileto summons allies, prioritize eliminating them swiftly before they can utilize their healing magic. Bringing the Dekaja skill can dispel buffs from summoned enemies, but your primary focus each turn should be to execute at least six Strike attacks and two party-wide healing spells.
