Dataminer Finds Hara-Kiri Animations in Mortal Kombat 1,,可能成为Quitalities

A recent discovery by Mortal Kombat 1 dataminer InfiniteNightZ has sparked excitement among fans with evidence suggesting the return of Hara-Kiri Fatalities, possibly as Quitalities. In a video shared on Reddit, InfiniteNightZ showcased what appear to be Hara-Kiri animations, a feature first seen in Mortal Kombat: Deception in 2004, where the losing player performs a self-Fatality.

The animations have been found for recently added DLC characters like Ghostface, fueling speculation that they could be integrated into Mortal Kombat 1 in a future update. "After seeing that they're adding it to the downloaded roster now, I think it's highly possible," InfiniteNightZ commented, adding that the animations are referred to as Quitalities in the game's code. Quitalities, which trigger when a player quits a multiplayer match, have appeared in previous Mortal Kombat games.

Following InfiniteNightZ's reveal, another prominent dataminer, Interloko, discovered additional Hara-Kiri animations.

Here are another 2 missing from the video, so looks like only Omniman and Conan doesn't have one.

I didn't try to trigger it in the game because I'm busy finishing some stuff of the demo of my own game https://t.co/TqBKyauY0G pic.twitter.com/hL4QzLRXwf

While these findings are intriguing, it's important to note that neither NetherRealm Studios nor Warner Bros. Games has officially announced the inclusion of Quitalities in Mortal Kombat 1.

The game has recently seen a resurgence with the addition of a secret fight featuring Floyd, the pink ninja, and a community effort to unlock him. Fans are also eagerly awaiting the T-1000 guest character and potential additional DLC, though NetherRealm has yet to confirm any further content.
