This pre-season mirrors the trend seen in games like Sonic Rumble, where players are treated to a wealth of content during soft launches, enhancing the overall gaming experience.
One of the major additions this season is the Arena mode, which introduces competitive PvP to Dark and Darker Mobile. Players can dive into 3v3, best-of-five deathmatches on randomized maps. To participate, you'll need to reach at least level 10 and have a minimum equipment score of 500. Additionally, you can bring a hired mercenary companion into the fray, adding a strategic element to your battles.
Another significant inclusion is the Shadow Realm, a new PvE mode where players can engage in weekly, escalating boss battles against formidable monsters. To access this challenging mode, you'll need to be at least account level 15. Before facing the bosses, you must clear waves of lesser enemies, ensuring a high level of difficulty and excitement.
This pre-season #3 update brings a plethora of other exciting additions. The Guild Encampment provides a new social space where Guild members can interact and socialize. The Soulstone system, available at account level 8, allows players to equip monster soulstones and gain unique traits. The Stat Tree system introduces persistent progression, complementing the new loot, monsters, gear, and quality-of-life upgrades included in this update.
