Crunchyroll brings the rhythm-based roguelike, Crypt of the NecroDancer, to Android! Now available as "Crunchyroll: NecroDancer," this beat-matching adventure offers a unique mobile experience. Originally released on PC in 2015, and previously on iOS and Android, this Crunchyroll version boasts expanded content.
What is Crypt of the NecroDancer?
Players take on the role of Cadence, a treasure hunter's daughter searching for her missing parent within a rhythmically-challenging crypt. The roguelike nature ensures each playthrough is distinct.
The game features 15 playable characters, each with individual styles and challenges. Gameplay is synchronized to Danny Baranowsky's original soundtrack; successful navigation and combat hinge on maintaining the beat. Failure to keep rhythm results in defeat. Enemies range from dancing skeletons to hip-hop dragons. Watch the trailer below!
More Than Just a Port ------------------------This mobile version includes remixes, new content, and Danganronpa character skins. Cross-platform multiplayer and mod support are also integrated. Further, DLC featuring Hatsune Miku and the Synchrony expansion is planned for later this year. Crunchyroll subscribers can download the game now from the Google Play Store.
