Naughty Dog has once again re-released its critically acclaimed The Last of Us series, this time bundling both games into a comprehensive package for the PlayStation 5 (PS5) titled The Last of Us Complete. This two-pack collection, announced and launched today, includes the 2022 remake The Last of Us Part 1 and The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered, offering players an enhanced gaming experience.

This encompasses the *Left Behind* Ellie-focused prequel DLC, as well as *The Last of Us Part 2’s* *No Return* and *Lost Levels* content. If you're a fan of the HBO TV series featuring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey but haven't yet explored the original video games, this all-encompassing digital bundle is available for $99.99.In a PlayStation.Blog post, Naughty Dog Head of Studio Neil Druckmann announced that a physical The Last of Us Complete Collector’s Edition will launch on July 10 for $109.99, with pre-orders available now. This edition includes additional items such as a Steelbook case, game discs, The Last of Us: American Dreams comics 1 – 4, four lithographic art prints, and a thank-you letter from Druckmann.

The The Last of Us series originally debuted on the PS3 in 2013 and has since become a beloved part of the PlayStation catalog. Despite its popularity, the series' numerous re-releases and remasters have drawn criticism from some fans and critics. The journey of Joel and Ellie was enhanced for the PS4 in 2014, reimagined for the PS5 with a remake in 2022, and continued with The Last of Us Part 2 in 2020, which received its own remaster in early 2024. Both titles have also been released on PC, with The Last of Us Part 1 arriving in 2023 and The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered just last week.
The Last of Us Complete consolidates all of Naughty Dog’s post-apocalyptic offerings into one package, marking yet another re-release. While some may question the need for another revisit to Joel and Ellie’s world, the timing aligns with the premiere of HBO’s The Last of Us Season 2 this Sunday, with Season 3 having been greenlit just yesterday.
