This update boasts improved game stability and more. Crucially, it now supports multiplayer modifications created using Vanilla DOOM, DeHackEd, MBF21, or BOOM. Cooperative gameplay has been upgraded with shared item pickup and an observer mode for players awaiting revival. Multiplayer network code has also received optimization. Finally, the mod loader now supports more than the initial 100+ subscribed mods.
Looking ahead to DOOM: The Dark Ages, accessibility is a key focus. The game will offer unprecedented customization options, exceeding those found in previous id Software titles.
