Clash of Clans enthusiasts, get ready for a game-changing update in March 2025 that promises to revolutionize your gaming experience. This update is responding to years of player feedback and is set to introduce one of the most significant shifts in the game's history, with several features being phased out to enhance gameplay.
No Troop, Spell, or Siege Machine Training Time!
Imagine attacking back-to-back without any wait times. The March 2025 update will eliminate troop, spell, and siege machine training time entirely, making battles more fast-paced than ever before. Additionally, hero recovery time is being removed, ensuring your heroes are always ready for action. This change will apply to players in the Titan League and below, while the Legend League retains its eight-battle limit per day for now.
This move aligns with Clash of Clans' ongoing efforts to streamline gameplay by removing outdated mechanics. Following the removal of training costs in 2022, the elimination of training time allows players to enjoy the game without artificial barriers.
With these changes, Training Potions and Training Treats will become obsolete and will be phased out. They will be removed from in-app purchase bundles, and any remaining in player inventories will be converted into Gems.
There’s a New Match Anytime System!
The new Match Anytime system will revolutionize how you engage in battles. When there aren't enough real bases available, you can now attack snapshot bases—saved versions of real player bases that are under Shield. These battles will function just like normal ones, allowing you to gain loot and trophies, but the defender won't lose anything. This system, already in use for Clan Wars and Legend League attacks, is now expanding to multiplayer battles.
Alongside this, adjustments to Trophy Curves will see a reduction in the number of trophies earned from victories due to the increased number of battles per session. Additionally, Clan Castle request timers will be standardized at 10 minutes for all players.
