Studio Sandfall Interactive has released its first character spotlight video, focusing on Gustave—a gifted inventor.
Voiced in English by Charlie Cox, Gustave has lived in fear of the enigmatic Paintress since he was a child. He spent years safeguarding his hometown by building defensive systems and advancing local farming. Now, he must confront his greatest trial yet: joining Expedition 33 to battle the very terror he always feared, all in order to secure the future of Lumière.
Alongside this debut, more videos highlighting other key characters from the game are set to follow.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a turn-based RPG where players command a party of distinct heroes, each with unique skills and rich personal histories. The art style merges Art Nouveau influences with dark fantasy, crafting a world steeped in mystery and suspense. The narrative offers substantial character growth and morally complex decisions that will shape the story’s ending.
The full game launches on April 24, 2025.
