The beloved Dungeons & Dragons series, Critical Role, featuring voice actors like Matthew Mercer, Laura Bailey, and Travis Willingham, is set to conclude its Campaign 3 with an epic eight-and-a-half-hour finale. Scheduled to air on February 6 at 7pm Pacific / 10pm Eastern (February 7 at 3am UK time), fans can catch the stream on Critical Role's YouTube, Twitch channels, and their exclusive membership service, Beacon.
This final episode will wrap up the adventures of the Bells Hells party, which embarked on their journey back in October 2021. Although no specific spin-offs or sequels for Bells Hells have been announced, Critical Role assures fans that more tales from the expansive world of Exandria are on the horizon.
Marisha Ray, creative director and cast member, shared her thoughts on the finale: "This finale for Campaign 3 marks the end of one very epic chapter of Exandrian history. But while we celebrate the end of this chapter, I think it’s important to know that the story continues with a simple turn of the page. I’m very excited to see what happens next in this story that remains to be written by the incredible emergent storytellers who are picking up the pen."
Despite the conclusion of Campaign 3, Critical Role's content calendar remains packed. A new Exandria Unlimited mini-series will kick off just a week later on February 14, with four episodes planned. The team is also expected to continue with various other shows and streams.
As for the next major campaign, details on when Campaign 4 will begin are still under wraps. Historically, there's been a gap of a few months between campaigns, with Vox Machina concluding in October 2017 and Mighty Nein starting in January 2018, followed by Campaign 3 in October 2021. Fans can look forward to an announcement soon, possibly around Critical Role's 10-year anniversary on March 12, which could be an ideal time for a new chapter announcement, if not the series premiere itself.
