Season 2 of *Call of Duty: Black Ops 6* has kicked off today, introducing a game-changing feature that simplifies the grind for camo enthusiasts. The new Camo Challenge Tracking feature is designed to make your journey to unlocking those coveted skins smoother and more enjoyable. Here's a detailed guide on how to make the most of it.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Gives Simple Access to Camo Challenge Progress
According to the patch notes for the latest update to *Call of Duty: Black Ops 6*, the Camo Challenge Tracking feature is described as, “The Challenge Tracker makes it easy for players to manually track up to 10 Camo and 10 Calling Card Challenges they’re actively working toward, but there’s another element of this system that we think players will find useful on the journey to Dark Matter, Nebula, and 100 Percenter: Near Completion.” This feature lets you manually select up to 10 camos to keep an eye on, allowing you to monitor your progress in real-time during gameplay, rather than constantly navigating back to the main menu. Additionally, the tracker sends notifications for challenges you're nearing completion, even if they're not among your selected ones.

How To Track Camo and Calling Card Challenges in Black Ops 6
To start tracking a specific challenge, navigate to the Camo or Calling Card challenge you're interested in. If you're using an Xbox controller, press the Y button, or if you're on PlayStation, hit the Triangle button to add that challenge to your tracker. This allows you to check your progress on various camos or calling cards during live matches in *Black Ops 6*, ensuring you know exactly what you need to do next to progress.
Even without selecting specific challenges, the game auto-populates your tracker with challenges you're closest to completing. This feature remains accessible at all times, making it easy to stay updated on what you're about to unlock.
You can also view the top tracked or near-complete camo and calling card challenges in the *Call of Duty: Black Ops 6* lobby under the Daily Challenge section, providing a complete list of items that are "near complete" to being unlocked.
The Season 2 update to *Black Ops 6* has also made the journey to unlocking special camos more manageable. Previously, you needed to unlock nine military camos before accessing a special camo. Now, that number has been reduced to five military camos. However, to achieve the mastery camos, you still need to unlock two special camos.
The community has long discussed the extensive number of camos available for each weapon and the challenges in tracking progress and achieving the necessary headshots and kills. With this update, it's clear that Treyarch is responding to player feedback by introducing more efficient methods to earn and equip camos, enhancing the overall experience of *Call of Duty: Black Ops 6*.
