How to Play Buzz Lightyear

Buzz Lightyear is a free unlock from the in-game Shop, arriving at Power Level 11 with his Gadget already unlocked. He lacks Star Power and Gears, but his single Gadget, Turbo Boosters, lets him dash forward, perfect for closing in on enemies or escaping danger. His Hypercharge, Bravado, temporarily boosts his stats. Both Gadget and Hypercharge function across all three modes.

Saber Mode is ideal for close-quarters maps (Showdown, Gem Grab, Brawl Ball), especially against Throwers due to his Super's targeted landing. Laser Mode dominates open maps (Knockout, Bounty) with its burn effect, hindering enemy healing. Even at low health, his aggressive potential makes him a strong contender in Trophy Events and Arcade Mode.

Note: Buzz Lightyear is excluded from Ranked Mode. His Mastery cap is 16,000 points, achievable before his departure.
