- New Halloween Night seasonal event takes place in the Fairy Tale Village
- Sonya, Rou, and Grandhildr explore a terrifying woodland setting
- Pumpkin Ghost Tanya appears as a Light-element Magic unit
Brown Dust 2 embraces the spooky season with its latest Halloween Night update, blending festive cheer with eerie atmosphere. Set within the Fairy Tale Village from Rou’s Labyrinth, this new chapter launches the Joyful Pumpkin Festival—a celebration that quickly turns dark in classic Brown Dust 2 style.
The story begins when Sonya visits the village, but her inner persona, Tanya, lets jealousy take over. After casting a powerful curse, the vibrant festival falls into shadow. Now, Sonya, Rou, and Grandhildr must venture through the haunting forest to lift the spell and restore the party’s spirit. This perfect blend of whimsy and dread fits seamlessly with the seasonal theme.
Players can also obtain two limited-time costumes via a special banner: Grandhildr’s spectral outfit, which boosts her damage based on Energy Guard levels, and Sonya’s chilling ensemble that inflicts the Nightmare debuff on foes. Both designs are visually striking and offer fresh strategic options for their respective characters.
The main threat comes from Pumpkin Ghost Tanya, a new enemy driven by fear. As a Light-property Magic type, she poses a unique challenge—her special ability can refresh her team’s cooldowns, making her difficult to manage. Additionally, Neon Savior Angelica returns as a Fated Guest, sharing an unexpectedly sweet secret hobby amidst the Halloween chaos.
