Blasphemous, the critically acclaimed 2D platformer drawing inspiration from religious and Spanish folklore, is now available on Android! This release includes all DLC, gamepad support, and a completely redesigned user interface optimized for mobile. An iOS release is planned for late February 2025.
The game plunges players into a dark, gothic world where they take on the role of The Penitent One, a warrior battling a malevolent curse known as The Miracle. Combat is brutal and challenging, and the enemies are horrifying creations born from twisted religious imagery and Spanish folklore. Prepare for numerous deaths as you strive to liberate the cursed island of Cvstodia.
Blasphemous' mobile version features a revamped UI and intuitive touch controls, ensuring a smooth experience. Bluetooth gamepad support is also included for players preferring traditional controllers. All DLC is integrated into this mobile port.
While iOS users will have to wait a little longer, the overwhelmingly positive player and critic response suggests the delay will be worth it. Mobile platformers can be tricky due to the limitations of touchscreens, but Blasphemous aims to overcome this challenge.
