What Happens After You Beat Avowed?

Author : Sadie Mar 19,2025

While *Avowed*'s Living Lands feel expansive, the main quest is surprisingly concise. If you're craving more after the credits roll, here's what awaits:

Does *Avowed* Have New Game Plus?

Many RPG players relish replaying the main quest on higher difficulties with acquired skills and gear. Unfortunately, Avowed currently lacks New Game Plus. While not available at launch, it's a feature frequently requested by players, so future updates or DLC might add it.

Does *Avowed* Have Endgame Content?

Avowed features four main regions, a secret final area, and a return to a major city (details withheld to avoid spoilers). Legendary-quality weapons and gear are crucial here. However, this endgame challenge doesn't affect previous regions, and no new areas unlock after completing the main story. This means you can't revisit the Living Lands as shaped by your choices.

What You Can Do After Beating *Avowed*

Post-game content is limited due to the absence of New Game Plus and endgame activities. After the final encounter, you'll watch several minutes of cutscenes showing the consequences of your decisions. Then, it's back to the main menu.

From there, you can start a new game or reload a previous save. Autosaves are available before the point of no return and the final encounter, allowing for replaying these sections with different choices and experiencing alternate endings.

Reloading to before the point of no return lets you revisit earlier regions. Clean up the map, earn achievements, complete missed side quests, and collect unfound items. Enemies in these earlier areas won't scale to your level, making it a satisfying experience to revisit Dawnshore, for instance, with your powerful endgame equipment.

That's Avowed's post-game in a nutshell.

Avowed is available now on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Game Pass.
