EA's Battlefield Studios Unveils Battlefield Labs: Your Chance to Shape the Next Battlefield Game

EA has launched Battlefield Labs, offering a select group of players early access to the next Battlefield game. This isn't your typical beta; it's a chance to provide direct feedback and influence development. Here's how to participate.

What is Battlefield Labs?

Battlefield Labs Program Image

Battlefield Labs is a program designed to gather crucial player feedback. Chosen participants will get early access to in-development gameplay via remote playtests and provide direct input to the developers at EA's Battlefield Studios. The program will initially include a few thousand players in Europe and North America, with plans for expansion to other regions and a much larger player base. Battlefield Labs will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Battlefield Labs vs. a Beta: Key Differences

Unlike traditional betas, Battlefield Labs provides access to work-in-progress content. Expect more bugs, unfinished elements, and technical issues than in a typical beta. EA is seeking feedback on core gameplay aspects like combat loops, map design, and balance. Participation requires signing a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), preventing public sharing of information.

How to Sign Up for Battlefield Labs and Early Access

Visit the Battlefield Labs webpage to learn more and register. You'll need an EA account, linked to your preferred gaming platform. Be aware of potential queues; you'll have a 15-minute window to access the website once your turn arrives. Complete the registration form, including your email address, to receive updates and playtest invitations.

The next Battlefield game is slated for release in EA's FY26 (before April 1, 2026). Your feedback through Battlefield Labs could directly influence its final form.
