NCSoft has announced the end-of-service (EOS) for its multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game, Battle Crush. This is surprising, as the game never reached a fully polished launch. Following a global test in August 2023 and an early access release in June 2024, the game is shutting down just months later.
Battle Crush EOS Date:
The game servers will be permanently shut down on November 29th, 2024. In-game purchases have already ceased. However, refunds will be issued for in-app purchases made between June 27th, 2024, and October 23rd, 2024.
Android and Steam players can request refunds from December 2nd, 2024, to January 2025. Players should download any desired game content before November 28th, 2024, as the game will become inaccessible afterward.
Battle Crush's official website will remain online until May 30th, 2025, for support purposes. Social media accounts and the Discord server will close on January 31st, 2025.
Unexpected Closure?
The announcement is understandably disappointing for players who invested time and effort into the game. While Battle Crush offered enjoyable gameplay, it lacked the polish and refinement needed for long-term success. Some players reported clunky controls and pacing issues. These shortcomings ultimately contributed to the decision to end service.
You can still download and play Battle Crush on the Google Play Store before the November 29th shutdown. For more gaming news, check out our upcoming article on the story-driven quests in Black Desert Mobile's Autumn Season.
