How to Bathe & Clean Yourself in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

Author : Victoria Feb 28,2025

Maintaining a clean appearance is crucial in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Your hygiene directly impacts how NPCs perceive you, influencing dialogue options and quest outcomes. Neglecting cleanliness results in penalties to Speech and charisma, hindering your ability to succeed in persuasion checks.

Methods for Cleansing:

The game offers three primary ways to clean yourself: troughs, bathing spots, and bathhouses.

1. Troughs:

Trough

Commonly found in towns and outposts, troughs provide a basic level of cleaning. Interacting with a trough allows Henry to wash his face, removing some dirt and blood, but this method doesn't clean your clothing.

2. Bathing Spots:

Bathing Spot

Located near larger bodies of water (rivers, ponds), bathing spots offer a more thorough clean than troughs. Entering the water partially cleans both Henry and his clothes, though not completely. An example is found west of the Nomads’ and Cumans’ Camps in the Trotsky region.

3. Bathhouses:

For the most effective cleaning, visit a bathhouse (usually found in larger towns). While requiring a small Groschen fee, bathhouses provide the most comprehensive clean, removing all dirt and blood from Henry and thoroughly cleaning his clothes. Regular visits are recommended for optimal hygiene.
