Bam Margera has been confirmed to be part of the roster for the upcoming Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4, despite not being included in the initial list of returning skaters. This exciting news was shared by skateboarding media veteran Roger Bagley during a members-only livestream on The Nine Club skateboarding podcast, as reported by Video Games Chronicle.

PlayBagley revealed that Tony Hawk personally intervened to ensure Margera's inclusion, even though the game was already complete. Hawk was initially told it couldn't be done, but his determination paid off, showcasing his commitment to the skateboarding community and its legends.

IGN has reached out to Activision for further comment on this development.

Margera, known not only for his professional skateboarding but also for his role in the Jackass franchise, has faced significant personal challenges with alcohol and substance abuse, leading to multiple rehab visits. He was notably fired from Jackass Forever and faced a restraining order from director Jeff Tremaine due to alleged threats.

Adding to the buzz, Hawk and Margera recently shared a video of themselves skateboarding together, which sparked speculation about Margera's return to the game.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 was announced earlier this month and is set to launch on July 11, 2025, across multiple platforms including PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Developed by Iron Galaxy, the game overcame challenges including the near-cancellation following Activision's merger of the previous developer, Vicarious Visions, with Blizzard.
