Ayaneo Reveals Two New Android Gaming Devices at GDC 2025

Ayaneo, a Chinese company renowned for its handheld gaming devices since its inception in 2020, has recently expanded its portfolio by introducing its first Android gaming devices at GDC 2025 in San Francisco. Initially known for its Windows-based handheld gaming PCs, Ayaneo has now ventured into the Android gaming market with two exciting new products: the Ayaneo Gaming Pad and the Ayaneo Pocket S2.

What Are the Two New Ayaneo Android Gaming Devices?

Ayaneo unveiled the Ayaneo Gaming Pad, an Android gaming tablet, and the Ayaneo Pocket S2, a new handheld device. Both are powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon G3 Gen 3 platform, marking them as pioneers in utilizing this advanced hardware. This platform promises significant enhancements in CPU and GPU performance compared to its predecessors.

The Ayaneo Gaming Pad features an 8.3-inch LCD screen with a 1440p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth and vibrant visuals. It supports hardware-accelerated ray tracing and Snapdragon Game Super Resolution, enhancing the gaming experience. Additionally, it includes Wi-Fi 7 connectivity for superior online gaming performance. The tablet boasts a sleek design with a glass back and a CNC-machined metal frame, and it is equipped with a 50MP main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP front-facing camera, setting it apart from typical gaming tablets with its high-end camera capabilities.

Complementing the tablet, the Ayaneo Pocket S2 is a compact Android handheld with a 6.3-inch 1440p display. It features an upgraded Hall-effect joystick, linear triggers, and dual X-axis motors for enhanced haptic feedback, providing a more immersive gaming experience. The Pocket S2 runs on Ayaneo's proprietary gaming software, AyaSpace and AyaHome, which offer robust game management and customization options. Like the Gaming Pad, it leverages the Snapdragon G3 Gen 3 platform for improved energy efficiency and performance, including support for hardware-accelerated ray tracing.
