Ubisoft has announced another delay for Assassin's Creed Shadows, pushing the release date back to March 20, 2025. Initially slated for a February 14th launch, this latest postponement aims to further refine and polish the game based on player feedback.
The game's journey to release has been marked by two significant delays. The first, announced in September 2024, shifted the launch from November 15th to February 14th, 2025, citing a need to ensure the game met quality standards. While the initial delay was partially attributed to concerns about historical accuracy, this second delay specifically focuses on incorporating player feedback. Ubisoft's Vice President and Executive Producer, Marc-Alexis Coté, emphasized the company's commitment to delivering a high-quality, immersive experience shaped by player input.
