Year 1 Post-Launch Roadmap
The highlight of the roadmap is the introduction of multiple Story Drops, which are free content updates designed to enrich the game's narrative and gameplay. Ubisoft stated, "These new free quests will introduce new player abilities, new allies, new world activities, and provide deeper looks and backstories for some of your favorite characters, each new piece of content expanding on the main game." These additions promise to keep the game fresh and engaging, offering players more to explore and enjoy without additional cost.
In addition to the free updates, Ubisoft is gearing up for the release of their first major DLC, The Claws of Awaji, slated to launch later this year. This expansion will take players to the new region of Awaji Island, accessible after the base game's epilogue. Fans can look forward to encountering new enemies, mastering new abilities for both protagonists, and wielding an exclusive new weapon for Naoe. The Claws of Awaji is included free with pre-orders of AC Shadows, but will also be available for purchase separately.
