Alphadia III has officially launched worldwide on Android today, completing the trilogy of this popular RPG series. Published by KEMCO and developed by EXE CREATE, the game originally debuted in Japan back in October 2022.
Story Background
Set in Alphadian Year 970, players find themselves thrust into the climactic phase of the Energi War - a devastating conflict surrounding a powerful life force called energi. The world stands divided between three major factions locked in struggle: the Schwarzschild Empire in the north, the Nordsheim Kingdom in the west, and the Luminea Alliance in the east.
The narrative takes a dramatic turn when Alfonso, a clone soldier emotionally awakened by news of a fellow clone's death delivered by a girl named Tarte, becomes central to unfolding events.
Gameplay Features
Staying true to its classic JRPG roots, Alphadia III delivers turn-based combat with charming pixel art visuals. The combat system includes:
- SP Skills: Chargeable abilities that can turn battles when strategically timed
- Array System: Unlockable battle formations offering tactical flexibility
- Energi Crock: An interactive crafting system where collected items transform into useful Energi Elements for equipment trading
The game introduces various factions including the peacekeeping Deval alliance and elite units like Nordsheim's Rosenkreutz. Players will encounter different clone models across factions, from Nordsheim's Berger Series to Schwarzschild's Delta Series.
Beyond the main campaign, Alphadia III offers substantial side content and full controller support. The premium version is available on Google Play for $7.99, with an ad-supported freemium alternative also accessible.
